This painting informs us that something terrible is going on in Darfur and the Sudan. Firstly, I will explain how this Darfur tragedy begun from my understandings in the video. Darfur is a thumping province which for years, consisted of many Muslim tribes. Two major tribes in Darfur are the Arab Nomadic Tribes, and the African Settled Tribes. everywhere the extend century, the African tribes, whose briny focus is farming, and the Arab Nomadic Tribes boast had fighting with each other, just aboutly revolving around land. April of 2003 is when this current warfare begun. The African rebel groups attacked a government multitude generalization i n Darfur. They killed many soldiers and for a period of time, they held the local military leader captive. The government responded with this attack. Since then, over 400 villages have been attacked and destroyed. It is most apparent for men and boys to be killed and for the women to be attacked and rapped. One of the main things amongst women has vex gang rape.

It is often the soldiers themselves rapping these women and young girls. Liz Walker shows a video of when she travelled to Darfur. In the video we see loosely women and families in camps.
